El Cerro Azul

Well after reading all the favorable reviews we went there last night. And I was totally unimpressed. Started with the salsa, I swear it tasted like Prego spaghetti sauce. No spice just tomato sauce? Based on the salsa I decided not to order Enchiladas and thought I might be better with a Fajita. It was hot, but that's about all I can say not spicy hot just hot off the grill.There was very little caramelization of the meat (steak) and it was not spiced at all. Just loads of peppers and onions. Service was lacking. After he delivered food and one beer I never saw him again. Mind you there was only maybe 5 other tables busy and loads of waiters so it wasn't busy. When everything was done and my drink had been finished for about 10 minutes he finally showed up and asked if I wanted another drink I asked for check. Will not bother with this place again.

An absolutely terrible experience. I placed an online order at around 6:20pm and arrived around 6:30. There was a long line, but they were labeling cars with post it notes, so I figured they had everything under control. For whatever reason, they only took my name and did not label my car. I waited in the parking lot for an hour (which I was fine with since they were so busy) only for them to call my phone asking when I was showing up, as my food had been ready for 20 minutes. I then told them I wasn't interested in old food and that I would pull up to the door for a refund receipt (I paid with a card). They sent someone different out with my food who proceeded to argue with me that it hadn't been "that long" and said that he could not give me a refund receipt. I would just have to wait for the refund to hopefully show up. Needless to say, I will be monitoring my card for the next several days. They were completely unprofessional and I will not be returning.

$1 tacos are soooo good. The SECRET to this place is the salsa bar. Load those tacos up American style sloppy and tasty. Don't be embarrassed go for it. Need a taco date? Hit me up this is my Wednesday foodie day.
